SUMMARY AND SUGGESTIONS

PURPOSES OF PRACTICUM

The purpose of this practicum is to improve English language skills, teaching skills and pedagogy and social skills. to encourage the pre-service student teacher. And to allow the regional and world wide view about education pre-service broader student teachers to gain. Besides that, I can get a chance to see the world.

PROCEDURES OF PRACTICUM

The teaching procedure has several stages, there are preparing lesson plans based on student characteristics and the subject to be taught in accordance with the applicable curriculum; prepare media and worksheets based on the subject and characteristics of students; the last is teaching in class according to the lesson plan that has been made.

OUTCOMES OF PRACTICUM

I can get more experiences teaching in other country and other students. I also improved my English skill, got more new vocabulary and felt more confident to speak in the front of the people by using English. I also improved my teaching skill and I learnt to teach students in English, how to gives command to students and how to manage class. I learned how to develop a media and got tips on teaching, getting motivated to further develop my teaching skills.

THE CHALLENGES OF PRACTICUM

The most challenging practicum was when I was suddenly asked by the teacher to teach even though I didn't prepare anything. I was very surprised, but I was lucky because the subjects were the same as the subjects I taught in other classes.

OVERALL IMPRESSION

I feel very grateful to be able to join the SEA Teacher program. My dream of going abroad is achieved. I also found many new things, in my opinion Thailand is amazing. The food is delicious, the transportation is unique and the people are very kind, humble, friendly and always smiling. Through this program I also got a lot of lessons like how to change myself to be a good person, I learned to be someone who respects the other culture, the others opinions and the others feelings. I also learned to more appreciate food, time and respect my self. I learned more to be an independent and confident person. I also got a lot of unforgettable experiences, amazing new friends and beautiful memories.

SUGGESTIONS FOR FUTURE IMPROVEMENT

FOR THE NEXT STUDENT TEACHER

I think it will be better to prepared very well before you arrived in another country. You must prepare mentally, physically and mind as well as possible. It is hoped that students teachers will not forget to prepare all attributes to teach before you get to the destination country. Setting up all these attributes is better done in advance. Must prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, what methods to use and the media. Media is a very important thing but sometimes it is still forgotten by a teacher.

FOR THIS PROGRAM

For this program, I hope that it will be further developed. I hope more countries will participate in this program. I also hope that the committee provides the blog guidelines earlier. Because there are many Sea Teacher participants who have created the blog on the first day but their blog is not in accordance with the blog guidelines because the guidelines are too late.
